KING PRODUCES BEST EVER PERFORMANCE

Pumas teenage PL star Jason King recorded his best ever senior Swindon score during their 59-31 home win over Trelawny on the 4th July.  King scored 7+1 from 5 rides which included a heat 8 exlcusion when he fell.  He also recorded the 3rd fastest time of the night with a very fast 66.99 seconds in heat 2.  At times this season King has struggled in the PL but his points have started to pick up and his current average from 15 meetings is a very creditable 3.27.
Three days after his best ever PL performance King struggled to get to grips with the Newport track and the Wasps ran out 49-41 winners over a Swindon team that at number 6 included guest Chris Schramm.  Schramm another Puma fared better than King with the track and scored 4 from 5 rides whilst guesting in place of Ritchie Hawkins.
As the Pumas are not competing in the CL trophy, Jason King and his brother Daniel have both been riding for Swindon in this years CL Trophy.  The Sprockets last two meetings could not have been any closer they have lost both of their last two meetings by just one point.  Last Thursday they lsot 45-46 to Carmarthen when Daniel King scored 5 from 4 rides.  3 days later the Sprockets put on one of the best performances of the season by any team narrowly going down to CL leaders 45-44 away.  Both King brothers rode for the Sprockets with Daniel scoring 5 from 5 and Jason top scoring with 15 from 6.
