Liverpool agree deal for DiaoElliot Hutchinson - Cox Monday, May 27, 2002 17:37 GMT Earlier this afternoon, Liverpool Football Club agreed a deal to sign Senegalese captain, Salif Diao. The midfielder plays his club football for French team, Sedan. Gerard Houllier has agreed to pay Sedan, £5 Million for Salif Diao who will be playing for Senegal in this summers World Cup. He is expected to play in the first game versus France and will also probably be the team captain. |
