Administrators can maintain news stories for their club.

To maintain news stories click 'News' under 'Admin' in the menu which will bring up a list of existing news stories.

To add a news story click 'Add' or to update an existing news story click on the title of the news story.

The following information can then be edited in the news story:

• News Area - This is either 'General' or 'Match Report'. If match report is chosen the news story can be associated with a fixture.
• Team (optional) - The team to which the news applies.
• Headline - The headline of the news story.
• Author - Who wrote the news.
• Image - Include an image in the story. An image must have previously been uploaded using 'Upload Image'.
• Story - The news story. If the author knows HTML the text of the story can be formatted.

Techie note - When the news is displayed any carriage returns are converted to
HTML tags, which makes the following text appear on the next line.
This can cause problems if you wish to include your own HTML code in the page. To prevent this from happening type 'NOBR' in upper case as the first four characters of your welcome page text.
