Molenaar unlikely to play against Leeds

Adam Bell  Tuesday, May 08, 2001  08:12 GMT

Molenaar's Leeds return in doubt
Robert Molenaar is doubtful for City's trip to his former club Leeds on Sunday following the groin injury he picked up on Saturday.
The defender did not come out for the second half against Middlesbrough because of the groin problem and now he seems certain to lose his ever-present tag since crossing West Yorkshire in the autumn.
He said: "I don't know how long it'll take to clear up. It got stiffer as the game went on and there was no way I could carry on. I just hope I'm all right to play at Leeds, as that's one game I've got to play in."
Gareth Whalley is expected to be all right however; he went off after just 15 minutes on Saturday, still suffering from the effects of flu that had sidelined him in the previous week's defeat at Everton.
