Exoterix approached this match with Dolphin Riders in the knowledge that their opponents had finished a highly repectable 4th in the last campaign, along with picking up the seasonal fair play award. This was expected to be a tough encounter which in all honestly could have ended up into double figures. Dan Wisby helped himself to a hat-trick and Warren Crawford joined him on the scoresheet for his first of the season. The fact that the Riders scored two goals was owed more to defensive lapses than anything else. This 4-2 victory enabled them to maintain their 100% start.
