Blues 'Cruise' to Floodlit Final
Bridlington Town Blue's cruised passed Hutton Cranswick in the semi final of the East Yorkshire Junior Floodlit tournament.
Starting the brightest the Blue's soon had Cranswick on the back foot and with Nathan Cunningham and Josh Job in sparkling form it was only a matter of time before the goals started to flow.
Sam Stanhope in the Blue's goal was a spectator for most of the game being called into action on only a couple of occasions.
The Blue's defence of Rob Scott Grant Dowson and Danial Robson stood firm throughout the game.
Jacob Day continued his return to form supported in midfield by James Webb.
The 2 substitutes Danny Quigley and Ashley Sowersby continued the teams work rate when introduced to the game.
The final score of 7-1 could have been much higher but for the heroics of the Cranswick keeper.
Blue's man of the match Nathan Cunningham and Josh Job nothing to choose between the pair who continue to work hard for the team as a whole.
The Floodlit Final (under 11's) between Bridlington Town Blue's and Spartan Tigers will be played at Queensgate on Wednesday 27th February Kick off 6-30pm.
