BDAS wreck car ParkGeraint Roberts Wednesday, June 20, 2001 11:13 GMTGames BDAS v Braichee Bunch 2-15, 3-15, 11-15 BDAS v Red Rock 2 11-15, 7-15, 18-16 Red Rock 2 were late and Braichee Bunch started off with 1 female player, but the sun was shining and we were out to play some volleyball. At the start of the evening, Fidel turned her ankle, not too much damage to the car park. But EDS will be resurfacing the car park next week as a result. We tried to help our new scorer John Twilley (Jeff's son) in the first match, by not going into double figures. Even this we couldn't get right!!! Jamie's blocking shows signs of Simon's coaching, Caz should be alright by the weekend. Jeff managed to save us what looked to be some unreachable balls with some good returns. Sergeant Major Anne (teams new nickname for me) had to hold onto Jamie's sweaty t-shirt in order to keep in position whist I was trying to come round and set. Jamie then felt he needed a safety blanket, but Caz wouldn't let him hold onto her t-shirt!! All in all not one of our best nights of playing so far this season. However, Blobby's consistent playing earns him Man of the match. Noel Edmonds is reported to be "ecstatic"! |
