MARATHON MAN TARREN OUT FOR SEASON
Broadford Plant were rocked today by Dave 'Tabba' Tarren ruling himself out for the season due to London Marathon commitments.
Tarren who has been in outstanding form recently in the makeshift centre half partnership with George Grant has decided that he has to commit himself to three months solid training for the event and cannot risk a football injury which would keep him out of Aprils event.
Boss Alan Walker said ' I understand Tabba thinking this way and he has said he would play in events such as an injury or illness crisis but has asked not be selected for any more games this season. I put it to the Board on Tuesday night and although they were reluctant as it is in breach of contract we have come to an arrangement with Tabbas agent of 'pay if you play' and both parties are happy with the arrangement.'
