AGENT FROME DENIES LINK
Ted Grant's Agent Emmason Frome (pictured above) has slamed todays newspaper speculation linking the Plant midfielder with a return to his old club Albion in the summer.
She spoke today after an article in the Saltaire Times this morning stating the player had been approached by Albion officials in recent weeks and was spotted in a Bradford bar with their Club Secretary last Saturday evening. Frome said ' If Ted was in talks with them it breaches his Plant contract and any such enquiry for his services would be directed to me initially. There has been no contact between Albion and myself and as far as I am concerned my client is happy at Plant and will see out his current contract and probably sign an extension.'
The article stated that Grant was already lined up for a summer return in a £1 deal, he has been frustrated most of this season with a ankle injury and has only figured for Plant in a dozen fixtures this season.
Grant was unavailable for comment after training today.
