In thruth, we were poor today and never really got going.  It took a goal from Ali Collie 3 minutes from time to win the game and deny the Arms what would have been a much desreved point.  Although Ruscombe did have chances....and several of them, they never really looked as though they were going to score and this was in the main down to two reasons : the resolute Warwick Arms defence who worked very hard and with great spirit to deny any clear chances but also Ruscombes inability to hit a barn door from 5 yards.

The Ressys first came from Ali Grant after a mistake from the keeper (which was the only mistake he made all game in what was otherwise an impressive performance).  The game was won in the 87th minute with a downward header from Collie after he met Alex Nealls inswinging corner.  Warwick Arms desrvedly took the lead lead after 20 minutes, and also had several more good chances throughout the game only to be denied by a busy Scotty in the Ruscombe goal. Ruscombes Man of the Match was James Bradley who again gave a captains performance - congratulations 'The Hammer!'
