Ian was just meeting his son Jack who was helping coach the U7's.  He took the footpath towards the Gallow Utd pitches when from nowhere he was made the victim of a vicious assault.  We spoke to him as he recovered from an operation to remove a Crutch from each ear and lacerations to his Hearing aid. "I was just admiring the Wheatfield when a large bushel sprang out then WHAM!, before I was hit, she shouted something like"....'I boss you footpal!..or ' I woz at that Boot-Sale!'  Police are taking statements from 3 witnesses to the horrific attack, 2 frogs and a Fence-post....
