When Brazil played Turkey on Monday 3rd June, Turkish midfielder Hakan Unsal appeared to kick the ball at Brazilian star Rivaldo. The ball hit Rivaldo in the thigh but he went down clutching his head. Fifa said that he was playmaking so that the referee could send Hakan Unsal off. The referee did send him off. Fifa announced that Rivaldo had been fined half-way through the first-half of the Group H game, Russia versus Tunisia which was live on ITV1 and which Russia won 2 - 0.
