Former Football League Stars Join HawkesHawke 17 Friday, April 19, 2002 10:59 GMT
Chesneys Hawkes today announce the signing of two new players, both having played in the football league.
Former Huddersfield Town and Halifax Town defender James Stansfield has joined the squad, and current Scarborough striker Richard Tracey will be available for matches in the coming season.
Stansfield has played 25 3rd division games for Halifax and scored 1 goal. Tracey has played over 80 league games for Rotherham, Carlisle and Macclesfield and scored 17 goals.
Manager James Tracey said "Obviously we are delighted to be able to call on these 2, but we won't have them every week. They both have other footballing commitments, but we should see them turn out for us at some point this year. They will certainly give us a distinct advantage with their quality and experience."
