Another Battyeford Player Breaks Leg This SeasonJames Tracey Wednesday, April 25, 2001 08:40 GMT

Battyeford have suffered a second serious leg break this season after Andy 'Marcy' Greaves broke his ankle last night in Battyeford's 5-1 win.
It is only 18 months after he broke the ankle in almost the same place and comes as a huge disapointment to the player.
The incedent occured as Greaves challenged for a 50-50 ball.
The injury isn't as serious as Gary Hirsts break and Greves should be out of plaster in around 6 weeks. This is just 4 weeks before the summer holiday to Malia, but hopefully Greaves should have recovered sufficiently not to be hampered on his holiday.
