Warning to futher conduct
The West Riding in the past few days have notified Hudderfield Irish Centre Club Officials that they sre taking disciplinary action against the club after the abandoned game against Fairbank at Leeds Road back in late March. The game was abandoned after Fairbank players surrounded the referee in dispute over a penalty decision but an earlier incident saw a mass brawl involving Irish Centre spectators the incident was reported to the West Riding by the referee on the day.
The club has has recieved a substantial fine and a player has received a lengthy ban, the Club has also been given a final warning concerning the clubs future conduct on the field in the future.
The club is likely to accept the decision that was given to the Irish Centre late last week this is a blow to a club that has acheived so much in the last couple of seasons and the clu has emphasised they will ensure this is an isolated case.
