Welfare Ground confirmed

Paul Quinn  Tuesday, April 17, 2001  10:49 GMT

The eagerly anticipated League game against Beacon Rangers at the Welfare Ground, Emley has finally been confirmed.  The Huddlers will play four days prior to their cup final on Wednesday 25th April with a 7pm kick-off.

The game will be a good opportunity for manager Chris Helliwell to prepare his side for the debut cup final against 1st Division Champions who thr Huddlers are still due to play in the league Ossett Town and all players will be fighting for a final shirt.

The game is being played at the Wlfare ground because of the current foot and mouth problems meaning Beacon can't play home ties.
