Too close to call ?!!?Paul Quinn Wednesday, May 09, 2001 11:10 GMT
On the eve of the biggest game in the Huddlers short history the media are selling the cup final as the closest for years. Even Ossetts 1-0 victory over the Huddlers on Sunday has given little insight into who may pick up the cup this year and the game has been tipped to go all the way. What ever happens we will have a winner on Thurday 10th May as the game will go to extra time and penalties if required.
The Huddlers have no current injury worries and the majority of the squad completed a training session last night.
The officials for the game have also been confirmed by the league they are:

Irish Centre and the road to the final:
1st Rd: IC faced their league rivals Meltham in a thrilling encounter at home. The huddlers took the lead through Quinn but Meltham equalised through Dean Sykes and a dubious penalty decision. The game went into extra time and it was Bell that sealed victory with a 30 yard volley.
2nd Rd: The Huddlers faced a tricky test at Beacon Rangers but Bell, Clarke and Tattersley sealed a 3-1 victory.
Semi-Final: IC played Cumberworth and sealed a comfortable 4-1 victory with a brace for both new boy kalinowski and Bell.
GOOD LUCK TO THE HUDDLERS
