FIXTURES ANNOUNCED FOR NEW SEASONJames Marrett Thursday, August 22, 2002 09:34 GMTThe first set of fixtures have been announced for the eagerly awaited start of the new 2002/2003 season. It's a very exciting time for Orton Rangers Football Club as the first team make their debut in a new league while the second team will be hoping for promotion this campaign. The first team kick-off life in The Festival League Premier Division 2 with an away match against Hamstead YFC at Aston University while the seconds begin life in The Sutton & District Sunday League Division 3 with a home fixture against Tyburn. The first set of fixtures are as follows: 1st September Hamstead YFC v Orton Rangers Orton Rangers Reserves v Tyburn 8th September Orton Rangers v Perry Common RBL Orton Rangers Reserves v Sporting Croft 15th September Orton Rangers v Warren Athletic Kypros Reserves v Orton Rangers Reserves 22nd September Senior Cup: Orton Rangers v Warren Rovers Challenge Cup: Orton Rangers Reserves v Kypros 29th September AC Vale v Orton Rangers The next set of fixtures will appear on the website as soon as they are released. |
