I proposed an inter-college 6 a side league at the ICSC on monday, but the sports reps weren't keen on running the teams. So it was suggested that the league be open like the Sunday night men's sixes, and that I get in contact with LUWFC to see if they'll help in setting up teams.
Caroline (Student Activities Assistant) asked me to produce feasibility studies for a one-day women's sixes in June and for the league, and warned that my biggest problem for the league would be getting an astroturf space.
It looks like the one-day shouldn't be a problem; fingers crossed we can get the league off the ground...
