After yet another defeat in London, Manager Jim Jefferies said after the Millwall game that somewhere along the line "We must have broken a mirror in view of the luck we are having at the moment.
"It was like Crystal Palace all over again. Millwall will not believe that they won 3-1.
"We had the chances to be three-up before they even had their first shot on target and it was typical of our luck the way that one went in.
"When Walshy saved the penalty right on the half-time whistle I thought that we were due a change in luck and came out fired up for the second half.
"Then against the run of play we lost another goal but kept on battling.
"We pulled one back and thought that we could still get something.
"Their third was typical of our luck coming from a misunderstanding by Etherington and Myers."
The Manager was delighted with the performance put in by loan signing Matthew Etherington.
He said, "The lad has lots of potential and everytime he got the ball you just saw that something was going to happen.
"He only met with his new team-mates this morning for the first time so it was only right that he started the game on the bench.
"But you could see the difference he made with his pace when he came on.
"Their keeper made two or three great saves and enjoyed some luck which is more than we did.
"But that is the way things are going for us. We have to keep our heads up and wait for that one win to turn things round for us."
