City will face Premiership newcomers Blackburn in a pre-season friendly at Valley Parade, while the club are also planning a tour of Ireland.
The Bantams will face Blackburn on Saturday, August 4, kick-off 3pm as they build up to the Nationwide season.
Meanwhile, club officials are organising a tour to the Republic of Ireland in late July, details will be announced later.
And the club have also been invited to take a team to play Halifax before the big kick-off.
