Balderton survived a rain affected weekend and claimed full points in a marvellous allround team performance.
The home side were put into bat and were soon 3 wickets down for 24 runs.
David Makey (75) and Stephen Binns (27) provided the fight back as they put on 115 for the 4th wicket. Martin Dixon (17*) and James Hirst (15*) provided a final flourish of runs to leave Balderton on 178 -7 off 40 overs. A fine batting performance after a poor start.
Notts. Amateurs never looked like getting the runs due to tight bowling and fielding from the whole team, especially Jonno Adams 6-4-5-1 supported by 2 wickets apiece from Adders and Hirsty and 3 from Young Binny.
A total of 8 extras were bowled by Balderton a big improvement from last weeks 41.
