Buderim made the most of the few chances they had to steal the points from a dominant Woombye.
Woombye controlled the match throughout but couldn't make it count on the scoreboard.
Just five minutes into the game a brilliant quick passing move from the Snakes saw them take the lead.
Dominic Tyrell feeding the ball to an onrunning Oliver Jurman who smashed it in from 15 metres.
Woombye were in control, however a defensive error opened the Snakes up and the Buderim attacker knocked the ball into an open net after a goalmouth scramble.
Just minutes later and the Snakes were in shock as they went behind after a speculative shot from 25 metres beat Woombye keeper Simon Kemp and snuck in off the underside of the bar.
The Buderim keeper made a spectacular save to deny the Snakes an equaliser when Daniel Bevan hit a beautiful shot goalbound the keeper, at full strectch, tipped it onto the crossbar and then away.
Buderim took the 2-1 lead into half-time, after the break Woombye continued to dominate possession and created several chances however couldn't capatilise.
Shot after shot sailed wide, high or both and even when Woombye thought they finally had a deserved equaliser the Buderim keeper made another spectaular save, to his left, denying the Snakes a deserved point.
