Everything comes in three's

Craig Strong  Thursday, July 12, 2001  22:54 GMT

It's hard to believe that K.I.C can scrap through each week without near a complete team. Where the minimum is 7 players, for the last two games only 5 have made it. K.I.C are hanging on a thread.

Anyway the first five minutes was a joke! k.I.C conceeded 6 goals and didn't score any! However after the shake-up K.I.C showed some spirit and came back into the game with 3 goals, Making it 6-3 at half time.

The second half started with a penalty for the opposition, and it was placed nicely, although the keeper got a hand to it. After a hard half, "Thornhill Blues" made a couple of subs, and the game came down to sheer fitness! K.I.C worked like a "butchers dog", but it just wasn't enough! They needed their whole team to compete as we know they can.

The final score finished in an abysmal 12-6 loss. However things are not as bad as they seem, as the players return next week.

"I think the losing streek is over now, and I can see us turning things around. We can be the team we are and start winning agian. We will win next week, although it looks pretty grey ahead". CRAIG STRONG

( I know the above because there won't be any players recovering from rough nightsw before hand".
