Reserves just hang onby manager Monday, April 08, 2002 20:12 GMT

Gosport Reserves recorded their second successive victory with a 3-2 win over Winchester City Flyers. Gosport kicked into the wind in the first half and makeshift keeper Karen Taylor produced a fine save to keep the score blank. Just before half time Ali Wareham thumped home a loose ball to open the scoring. In the first ten minutes of the second half, Gosport scored twice more, firstly through Wareham and then full back Sarah Perkins calmly slotted home the third. Gosport then relaxed and this allowed Winchester back into the game with two goals but Gosport held on for the victory.
