STAR MIDFIELDERS TO MISS SEASON??West End FC Wednesday, March 13, 2002 09:46 GMT

West End midfielders, Matty Wise (above left) and Scott King may miss at least a month of the season after picking up injuries in Sunday's defeat against Palmer. Scott has confirmed that he will be out of action for at least a month after picking up an ankle knock and Matty has achilles trouble.
This news will surely trouble Jim Martin's team selection for Sunday and he may revert to a back 4. Matty has been one of West's star performers this season and has performed outstandingly in Goal, defence and midfield. Scott has also been a great new addition to the team after joining at the start of the season and both will be sorely missed.
Matty has said that he is able to walk on his injured leg but it is touch-and-go for training and this Sunday's trip to AFC Earley. Scott may miss the rest of the season if West complete their remaining games in the next few weeks.
Other star defender, Michael Brunt, is also struggling with a suspected Hernia problem but he is expected to see it through the remainder of the season before consulting a specialist.
