Eastbourne YDL team on treble win

* *  Friday, June 22, 2001  19:46 GMT

Eastbourne Eaglets YDL are on a hattrick of wins at present. Two homes wins against Reading and Rye House and a win last Wednesday against Southampton at Poole, these boys are on a roll.

Reading couldn't stop the Eaglets from winning after loosing Jessica Lamb in a nasty looking 2nd bend crash after she jump out of the starts to take the lead, only to be sandwiched by Eastbourne Eaglets Jason King and Barrie Geer.

Daniel Warwick and Matthew Tutton shared Jessica's rides between them. Daniel Warwick impressed for the Reading Ravens side winning 3 out of 4 rides. Daniel hopes to soon be back in action  after a knee injury sustained at Rye House when Russell Paine hit the fence and took young Daniel out in the process.

Eastbourne Eaglets ran out winners 30-5 at home against Rye House. They also narrowly beat Southampton Saints at Poole last Wednesday night. Barrie Geer hopes to be back in action after he fell when competing for first place against Tom Brown.
