Woombye-1 v Noosa
23/6/01
This was a game that was always going to be difficult and got more difficult after 5 minutes when Carl Harrison was forced off the park with a small problem. But Phil Massoud took control of the situation and with the help of Peter Brown with a fine pass Phil Massoud struck the ball from 30metres out and scored the goal of the day. Then 15minutes later Phil Oyster gave Noosa a 2-1 advantage after the ball was crossed to the far post. After half time we lost another player to a slight injury Lozza and he was replaced by Adam May.The second half be came disjointed and lacking any cohesion but credit to the players they stuck in there and with one rare piece of cohesive football we got Phil Oyster into the box where he was brought down by the defender, Matt Rocker struck it well and we finished the game 3-1 up
Caboolture next week and hopefully we can put together a strong game
