On the 2nd and 3rd of June. 4 of the Hackney Rfc First team travelled up to Diss Rfc in Norfolk to take part in the Level 1 youth coaching course.
The course attended by players from clubs all over the southeast is the first step for the 4 boys as they introduce Rugby Union into the schools of Hackney. The four players who took part were. Ray Clark, Riley O'Brien, Rob Robertson and John Irwin.
The two day course will be followed by an assesment in about six months. After that they will be qualified coaches
