The Gaffers NotesThis page is reserved for the Gaffer to add his notes.It is clear that there is a shortage of referees in the Bournemouth area, probably due to how hard the role is to perform. Referees even on Sunday mornings are out there to enjoy the game, they dont need 22 people + supporters giving them a hard time. I am adamant that there would be few players that would relish this job so support the referees, without them, the game becomes more difficult to manage. Everyone gets frustrated, but I bet you an avarage sunday morning player makes more mistakes during a game than the referee does! The one thing that I wish referees would do more of is communicate with players and justify their actions when necessary...they would earn more respect that way. |
