Latest Match Report End of April 2002. Seems a long way away now,but the lads finally crushed Stratford haven 12-5 on hopefully the last trip to grove farm. Highlights of the battle were woodys 5 to give him the Golden Boot for div 1,a jez hattrick after coming on for andy walker ,who badly twisted an ankle after heading the own goal of the season,and Judgey annual foray upfield to score the record breaking 12th with a delicious swerving shot from outside the box. The victory ,which avenged an alcohol laden 4-2 defeat in september,meant that Ally climbed above Meadows,whom we lost to in midweek 2-1,and azzurri,our cup conquerers,to secure a second successive promotion,and climb,eventually into the premier section,in our 9th season.
