History

1973
The club is founded as Noosa River Soccer Club.
A group of interested people including founding President John Hines met in a Noosaville Cafe & planned to create a soccer club for Noosa & District.
The first public meeting was held at St. Marys Hall Tewantin 3/7/73, afterwards an approach was made to Noosa council to prvide grounds for the club.
A further meeting was held and it was decided that the club colours should be brown & gold.
1974
Four teams are entered in the coast competition under 8's, under 10's, under 12's & under 14's.
the teams play at Coolum.
1975
Noosa Shire council allocate 15 acres of land to the club at Tewantin (It was three more years until the grounds were ready).
1976
The first team enter the competition before playing their home games at Read Park Tewantin the team played at Peregian Beach on a field behind the bowls club.
Amazingly the team go through the whole season undefeated but lose the Grand Final.
1978
The club finally play at it's own ground at Sir Thomas Hiley Park, McKinnon Drive, Tewantin. That year also saw the first Grand Final victory when the U12's beat Coolum 2:1.
1979
The canteen & changing rooms are built, almost exclusively by volunteer club members.
1981
The first Women's team take to the field.
The club is renamed Noosa Soccer Club.
The first team are crowned Champions after also becoming Premiers, they beat Woombye 2:1 in the final.
1982
The Women become champions after only losing one game all season, sadly they disbanded and did not defend their title.
1983
Noosa win both first & second titles, the first time this was ever achieved in the Sunshine Coast Competition. The First's win the Grand Final 5:4
after extra time, after the teams were 4:4 after 90 minutes.
Noosa play in light blue & white.
1984
WORLD RECORD (Almost)
Noosa beat Nambour 21:0, Steve Walsh scored 17 goals which was a world record for an official game, but the result was made null & void after the federation found that Nambour had played a couple of unregistered players.
The 2nd's win their forth Championship in a row.
1986
The firsts are Champions & Premiers
1988
Noosa beat Glashouse Beewah (BeeGee's) in the final 3:1 BeeGee's had only lost one other game all season.
Noosa play in Black & Gold.
1991
The new clubhouse is completed.
1995
The club is relaunched with the patronage of Yvonne & Roger Cawley as the Noosa Blues with the help of local publihers Noosa Blue Publishing.
The Club play in their present Blue & Gold colours.
Noosa are Premiers but lose Grand final to Caloundra.
1997
Premiers again but lose to Kawana in Grand final.
1998
Noosa win Grand final at Tewantin 3:1 Vs. Maroochydore after game is delayed buy rain storm.
1999
U13's make the Grand Final
Women win Championship beating BeeGees 1-0
2000
Noosa win grand final as premiers with a golden goal in extra time after the game was tied 1:1 at full time Vs. Gympie Miners.

2001
1st Division Champions after a penalty shhot out after the game was 2-2 at full time.
3rd Division are Premiers.
U14 Girls are Grand Finalists.
U16's Champions after beating Maleny in Grand Final.
