MILLENIUM STADIUMBig time speedway is back this year in the shape of the Millenium stadium Cardiff its great to see speedway back at the best stadiums and where better than cardiff but will this mean the end of top flight speedway here in britain with the expanding GP series it is becoming increasingly harder to get GP riders week in week out at our Elite league tracks its great to see speedway getting TV coveridge but with these fortunes will british speedway suffer will it mean the beginning of a league with the top riders being riders like Steve Johnston or Lars Gunnestad being an avid speedway supporter im sure i would carry on supporting but i am also sure that with the lack of tpp flight riders the crowds would drop this may not be such a problem now that promoters will not have to splash out on GP riders costs i for one cant see this happening but if it does will you carry on supporting your great sport Email me with your answers at tannerd894@aol.com ill look forward to your response. Now that we have a british world champion in the great Mark Loram its great that we have this when speedway is on such a high loram him self said that if the fans are as exited as the event as he is they will be there. He went on to say i am sure that they will produce a reat track,it will be a small one but that should produce great racing.Ole Olsen GP race directer says he has to take his hat of to BSI and John Posslethwaite. This is all good but will we get the crowds we want at cardiff so far the signs are that ticket sales are going well the question on my mind is who will be the wild cards the one name racing around my head is Phil Morris the best welsh rider around at the present moment.Oxford will have three riders there and through out the GP's Wiltshire,Adams and Andersen so there is no reason for you to stay away.
