Over 35's play at Wanderers

MONDAY NIGHTS: The over 35'5 have their run starting from about 6.45pm. It's purely a social game night where teams are picked on the night. All are welcome if your over 35 or there abouts. Call IAN SAXTON on 46324430 for any details.

TDSF Mens Preseason Tournament 2002

Wanderers hosted this tournament again this year. Like in 2001 the trophy was eventually won by USQ against St Albans on a fogged ladened Saturday night pitch. The tournament started on the Friday evening with the strong USQ lineup beating the Wanderers Black squad 4-0. This was the only loss for this Wanderers team who recorded wins in it's other 3 games. Likewise for the Wanderers White squad which only lost one game also. Despite the inclement weathered a great amount of fun was had by all.

TDSF Competition for Season 2002

The TDSF at it's meeting last weekend decided on an all in format for the 13 nominated teams. That is all teams will play each other once through the first half of the season, then the top six will break away to form the 1st Division with the remaining teams fighting out for the Second Division trophy.

MONEY FOR COURSES

West Wanderers were successul in obtaining grant money from the State Government to sponsor our coaches, managers, parents, players, etc. to attend various sports medicine and soccer coaching courses throughout the upcoming season.
