Another Superb Win by Ellerslie 1st Team

Well its now 4 in a row for the 1st team!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another magnificant display of football saw us beat title contenders Fencibles United by 4-3 although the 3rd goal was only a conselation goal as it was scored in injury time.

Ellerslie Casino score a magnificant Win

Ellerslie Casino had a manificant win over Western Springs on Saturday by 6-2. A tremendous team effort lifted us from 2nd bottom to 6th overall. Jason Trowill's 2nd Minute 38 metre free kick started the scoring off when the direct free kick went in straight from the kick - yet again his 2nd goal from the same distance. Yui Ozazaki (Coach) scored twice as did legnedary striker Jimmy and to finish the scoring 16 year old school boy Gabriel Hoete scored his 4th goal of the year.

Magnificant 1st Team make it 3 in a row

Well the Ellerslie Men's first team might be making their run to win the Premier League table a little to late but I was on hand to witness a magnificant display of football on Saturday against Bay Olympic. Six goals in total and all scored in the first hal. Veteran Terry Torrens scored from the Penalty Spot whilst end of season hero and man of the match Joel Facon scored his 2nd hatrick against the run of play Bay Olympic netted twice so the final score line read Ellerslie 4 Bay Olympic 2.
