B TEAM WINS SHIELD/ DOUBLE

A very hard game against a useful Martlesham B team, saw the Saints struggle to create many clear cut chances. Jonathan Bingham had a good shot saved in the first half, and Ted Nichols had another tipped over the bar in the second period. The match went into extra time, and with still no scoring it was down to the penalty shoot out.

The B team clinched the league title with a good 2-0 win over a spirited Kesgrave.There could have been even more goals with Jonathan Bingham hitting the post from a penalty and then the bar with a shot in the second half, just to name a few.WELL DONE BOYS!!
