Cardiff were founded in 1975 and originally known as Llanedeyrn L.F.C. and have built up the club over the years to enable anyone, regardless of ability and from the ages of 8-40 to get involved in Club football.
Cardiffs achievements over the years has now been acknowledged by Cardiff City AFC who invited them to become their ladies section which meant changing their name to Cardiff City L.F.C. This is a high profile merger that can only benefit the club's development.
