Police called in to check web site securityTaul P. Staurey Thursday, May 03, 2001 12:02 GMT
Police at Fettes HQ in Edinburgh have been called in, by Reith Rovers management, to examine internet security. This was after incredulous fans emailed the Reith Rovers web site, complaining that the recent Poll for 'Player of the season so far.' had been rigged. Simon Walton is currently the front runner. Below is just one example of the emails received.
'I think there should be a news flash on the website about a corruption enquiry, regarding someone stuffing the player of the year ballot box on behalf of Simon Walton.' (Jon Doig)
