Ellerslie One Day 6A alias the Muppets have Won their latest game against the over 60's AISC side at Madills farm by 9 wickets.
AISC batted first and were dismissed for 94 All Out with Dion 'Chunky' Gobie taking a magic 5-9 from 8 overs and Michael Heyes 3-34 and spin wizard Brett 'Hitman' Griffiths taking a career best 2-20 also chipped in.
In reply Ellerslie hit 97-1 with a superb batting innings from Richard Jones who smashed 62* in a great partnership with Paul Catton 19* to win the game. A magic game for the lads and have broken their own personal record winning 3 in a row. Well done to you all......
