Howes doubtful for start of season

Back injury puts Howes place in doubt

Kieron Howes is a doubt for next season after injuring his back playing golf. The injury means he cannot train so will be weeks behind the rest of the squad when they resume on July 9th.  Last seasons top goal scorer is understandably gutted after donning the number nine shirt in every one of the last 26 games, but the blow will be softened with his likely replacement, Phil Lee, putting pen to paper in the past two weeks.

On a better note Lee Miles has undergone surgery on his troublesome knee injury that hindered him endlessly towards the end of last season and he hopes to be in full training come July 9th.
