Bloomsday bliss as 7 man romp to victoryPeter Streader Saturday, June 23, 2001 16:00 GMTA 4-1 victory against Kick As...gaining revenge for our defeat earlier in the season. A dream start for Bloomsday as 4 goals were swept in in the opening 15 mins.Harald,Hansel,Franz and Wilson getting on the score sheet...cool finishing and a bit of the luck we have lacked all season. From then on it was virtually one way traffic,but Steve Mason in goal made some saves that were out of this world...truly...Only a late penalty with 10 mins left evaded the Cat...only just. Streader in defence,House on the right and Niels turning up just before half time...it helps to have at least 7, this time we had 8 There is still a lot of work to be done to build up a stable 7 man team to rival the one of days gone by, but perhaps there is hope! Steve the cat Mason man of the match by a mile. |
