Whitley Bay Day 3

On a desperately heavy pitch due to all the rain we went down 7-0 to a strong and over physical Newcastle side. One or two foul challenges should have received more response from the referee especially a very late challenge on Gemma Barton in the first half.

We battled well without getting to grips with the surface but as always there were encouraging performances and it was a very worthwhile exercise. Our thanks to Forest Hall who enabled our players to compete and we hope to be back next year under our own name.
