History
The picture shows the second ever home game for the Buffalos, the first featuring the official club shirts. The fixture was against Khon Kaen University, who had a strong team at the time. The Buffalos started badly and were soon in trouble with the referee.
Marshall in particular managed to incur the wrath of Mr. Jones by daring to say, "Please Sir, can you explain the last penalty decision?' he official was in no mood for such insolent backchat and ordered a further ten yards against the retreating home side, who swiftly
conceded another try.
Thanks to the speed of Emanuel on the wing, the Buffalo boys managed to fight back and snatched a draw at the death. A fine game it was. Anyone else remember much about it?
