Glory Days !!!!!Jimmy Losing The Team !!!!
It was a League Cup Match over at Elstead against Sandrock when Jimmy (then manager) asked everyone if they knew where they were going, with lots of murmered no's and blank expressions Jimmy took a management decision and told everyone to follow him (as he was a courier driver he knew where everywhere was). Jimmy promptly raced off assuming everyone could keep up with him (they couldn't). The result of this was half the team spent the morning driving around Godalming looking for Elstead while the eight remaining players got a 9-1 roasting. The highlight of this sorry tale was seeing Jimmy the player manager in goal wearing an old pair of gardening gloves!!!!
