I don't think anyone can be proud of their performance on Saturday...a hesitant and static defence,a toothless,ball-losing midfield and an impotent, unimaginative attack...I just hope we play more as a team tomorrow and also be a bit more verbally positive on the pitch.We have a good team and good spirit.I think Niels should be where he can cause damage...the defence must push up to the halfway line to give the midfield a real chance of closing down players and the strikers need to make more runs diagonally and sideways to free space for oncoming midfieders.I think we should play with Neil as a sole striker and keep the midfield flexible so that defensive and attacking duties can be rotated,as in the first game.The 4-5-1 formation I thought was our game plan, but in the 2nd half we played 4-3-3 or 4-2-4. What do others think?Hope the game isn't cancelled, see you. |
