DEPLETED King's Lynn pulled off a stunning 47-42 victory over Ipswich at the Norfolk Arena - their first win of the season.
The Knights were without Nicki Pedersen (neck) and Travis McGowan (wrist) and used Adam Shields from the Isle of Wight as a guest replacement.
Proud Knights boss Nigel Wagstaff said: "I cannot speak highly enough of these youngsters, they are a brilliant bunch and I'm very proud."

KAUKO Nieminen is likely to miss the next two months of the season after crashing out of Workington's Premier Trophy defeat at Edinburgh.
Nieminen suffered a badly dislocated shoulder in a nasty crash which involved colleague Rusty Harrison and Edinburgh's Dalle Andersson.
Comets boss Ian Thomas said: "Our own track doctor has told Kauko 8-12 weeks but the lad himself wants to be back sooner if possible."
PEDERSEN BLOW
Friday, March 29, 2002
NICKI Pedersen has pulled out of King's Lynn's Good Friday double-header with local rivals Ipswich.
The Danish Grand Prix star has been suffering from pain in his neck since rising for the Knights against Eastbourne in mid-week.
He aggravated damage sustained in a crash at Poole seven days ago.
Knights boss Nigel Wagstaff said: "It's a crushing blow for us because we're already without Travis McGowan.
"I've now arranged for Nicki to see a top specialist and we'll have to see what the full extent of the damage is."
BOOCOCK PRAISES TIGERS
Friday, March 29, 2002
ERIC Boocock has paid tribute to Sheffield's youngsters after seeing them demolish his Hull Vikings side.
Tigers won 55-36 in a Yorkshire derby at Owlerton on Thursday despite the fact that many experts predicted a Hull win.
Boocock said: "It was a smashing meeting which was a great advert for the sport. "Full credit to Sheffield, they are a credit to speedway, they are all British and the young lads have come through the Conference League. It's good to see."
BANDITS BOSS HAS HIGH HOPES
Friday, March 29, 2002
PETER Waite is backing his Berwick side to challenge for Premier League honours this season.
The Bandits have already beaten reigning champions Newcastle both home and away in the early stages of the season and face bitter rivals Workington in the Premier Trophy over the easter weekend.
Waite said: "We've made a great start and I can see us being up there with the top teams."
LYNN STAR HURT
Thursday, March 28, 2002
TRAVIS McGowan is to visit his local hospital in a bid to establish the full extent of a wrist injury.
King's Lynn's Aussie crashed heavily in the home defeat by Eastbourne and initial reports suggest a broken bone.
Knights boss Nigel Wagstaff said: "His wrist was too swollen to get an accurate diagnosis on Wednesday night. The lad is very depressed about it, he's been enjoying his speedway."
