A small bit of history about our football club.

Avoch football club was formed in 1947 or earlier. In 1952 saw the introduction of summer football in the dingwall & district league in which AFC were highly respected members, untill 1965.

Avoch rejoined the league in 1982 and continue to be active members of this league.

In between times AFC has changed, from 1964 - 1967, we played in a second eleven league and were known as Avoch Rovers. Which also brought success, in the first year they went on to win the league, and in 1966/67 went on to win 3 cups.

In the 1980's AFC became Avoch Station Hotel  FC. and played in the Easter Ross pub league on sunday mornings, as we all know holds  the best athletes and [fiddle players ]  this team was also very successful  in winning trophies, to many to mention !.
