POSSIBLE JACK ORMSTON INTERVIEWSteve Harland Monday, May 07, 2001 21:15 GMT

We are hoping to have an exclusive chat with JACK ORMSTON very soon. Jack rode in the very first dirt track meetings at Middlesbrough in 1928 and is alive and well living in Gainford near Darlington.
Jack had a very successful career as a speedway rider before the second world war and appeared for Wembley and Harringay (see pic). After retiring from speedway he became a very successful racehorse trainer.
The interviews with Martin Dixon and Steve Wilcock
will be coming real soon.
